Dissolve your distractions

Writing helps to improve your focused and intentional productivity by eliminating waste and procrastination.

Writing every day for 365 days, I’ve learned to reduce procrastination.

Where did your time go? You were starting to do something meaningful, and then you discovered yourself spending hours on a hamster wheel.

By slowly building a daily writing habit, you can improve your ability to focus on a task. Writing is concentration. You need to gather your attention on something specific to write. You could either launch yourself into a creative writing flow or research a topic to write about: for your intellectual pleasure or because you need it for school or work.

While writing, you are demanding the best energies from your mind and your body. You are concentrating your life essence into creating something meaningful and useful.

Writing you can reduce the “black hole” time. You will engage people on Social Media only when you have formed elaborated thoughts rather than dripping and fleeting words (and memes).

You will be browsing the Internet, intending to know more about your interests rather than mindlessly navigating an infinite void.

You will be more conscious and intentional in your web searches and researches.

You will discover the urge to curate your information sources: podcasts, blogs, newsletters, and forums. You will grow a desire to reduce or mute all notifications on all of your devices.
